Even though the PS5 has recently managed to surpass Nintendo Switch sales in the UK, things are not looking good in japan for both Sony and Microsoft.

While Nintendo’s hybrid console continues to reign supreme in sales in Japan, the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox series continue to suffer from lack of stock in stores, which causes them to show violent drops in weekly sales.

Last week, the Nintendo Switch had a sales boost thanks to the release of Splatoon 3, however, Sony and Microsoft Recorded the worst sales week in history in Japan.
