As much as Ubisoft is struggling to deliver its previously announced projects and continues to make constant delays, as is the case with Skull and Bones and the remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, the company is working on multiple projects simultaneously.

This week, the studio unveiled “Project U,” a new co-op shooter that “explores a new concept of session-based co-op shooter where many players band together to prevail against an overwhelming threat.”

The game under the codename Project U is still in the early stages of development, but Ubisoft is already starting to test it exclusively on PC for gamers in Western Europe.

While the game is entirely in English, the trial will be available in France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.

We would love to play with you and collect your valuable feedback to improve the game experience and guide production in the right direction.

For now, it is not yet known for sure what the game is about, but from the description, it seems to work in a raid system, where instead of facing enemy teams, players need to unite against a common enemy.

What did you think of the idea of this new game?
