Launched in November last year, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the latest games in the iconic franchise of pocket monsters, which in addition to bringing new mechanics, also introduced us to a ninth generation of unprecedented species, as well as a new region.
This week, The Pokémon Company finally revealed the date for the integration of the games with Pokémon HOME, a cloud storage system that allows the import of monsters from previous games to the most recent titles.
From May 23, 2023Pokémon HOME will be updated to your version 3.0.0, allowing the integration of the service with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. After players link their games to Pokémon HOME, they will be able to transfer little monsters from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to Pokémon HOME, and bring some Pokémon from other games to the Paldea region.
The Tera Type of Pokémon moved from other games to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be determined by their original type or types.
When transferring a Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet to Pokémon HOME for the first time, players will receive Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly with Hidden Abilities through the Mystery Gifts feature in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME.
Version 3.0.0 update highlights
- Convert Pokémon HOME points into LP (League Points): players will be able to exchange Pokémon HOME Points, which they receive based on the number of Pokémon in their Boxes, for LP that they can use on Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
- See specific game details: players will be able to change a Pokémon’s summary page to display information from other games in which that Pokémon has appeared. Additionally, in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME, the summary page for a Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Bank will now show its traits and information in the same way as they did in Pokémon Bank.
- Movement change: From version 3.0.0 onwards, when players bring a Pokémon from Pokémon HOME into a linked game, players will be able to change the moves that Pokémon knows from a list of moves it has learned up to that point. This will allow players to get their Pokémon to learn moves before moving them from Pokémon HOME.
- Added challenges and stickers: if some challenges are completed in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME, you can get stickers as a reward. You can use the stickers you earn to customize your profile, so be sure to complete a variety of challenges to create designs that are just like you!
- Bring along Gimmighoul (Roaming Form): players will be able to bring Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) from Pokémon GO into Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet through Pokémon HOME.
