A commitment to design and screen

The POCO M, following the tradition of recent generations, are the most modest family, but Xiaomi did not want to be left behind in a market that is increasingly creating more premium-looking affordable phones.

Therefore, this POCO M6 Pro is reminiscent of the Redmi Note 13 Pro with a two-tone rear with each camera arranged individually On top of the superior part. In this generation, POCO wanted to follow straight lines both for the rear, without curvature on the sides, and on the screen.

Is about a 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a fact that has become fashionable and is good to know: 1,920 Hz PWM. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and the phone is IP54 certified.

The design is careful and the panel seems to take advantage of the front quite well, but let’s go to the interior. The SoC is the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra. It is a SoC with several months behind it, but MediaTek claims that it has great performance in tasks such as games.

It has a 4G modem, it is built in 6 nanometers and has eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz. It is accompanied by modules of 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and the memory is 256 or 512 GB UFS 2.2.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with a charge of 67 W. The charger is included in the box, as is still Xiaomi’s custom, and the company promises that 100% charging takes 44 minutes to complete.

In the photographic section we find a fairly well-known configuration, but with a very interesting element for this POCO family. We have a 2 megapixel macro and an 8 megapixel wide angle, but The main sensor has 64 megapixels and the good news is that it has optical stabilization.
