POCO today introduced two new members of the POCO M family: LITTLE M5 and LITTLE M5s. With the POCO M5s, the company has focused especially on photography and display.
The POCO M5s features a rear quad camera It consists of a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera (118º), a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. The front camera is 13MP f/2.4.
The POCO M5s has a 6.43″ AMOLED DotDisplay screen with FullHD + resolution that offers a maximum brightness of 1,100 nits and a contrast of 4,500,000: 1. It covers the DCI-P3 color gamut, offers a pixel density of 409 ppi, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
POCO has incorporated a 360º ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness automatically, as well as Reading 3.0 mode to reduce blue light emission. also owns DC Dimming to eliminate flickering at low brightness levels.
The phone has dual stereo speakers, as well as a Z-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback.
The POCO M5s has a chip MediaTek Helio G954 / 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM (with dynamic RAM expansion up to 8 GB) and 64 / 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage expandable via microSD up to 1 TB.
The whole set is powered by a 5,000mAh battery lasting up to 2 days in normal use, 11.8 hours in games, 19.3 hours in video playback and 5.6 hours in 4K video recording. It has a fast charge at 33W.
In terms of connectivity, we find 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G connectivity (Dual SIM), infrared emitter, NFC and headphone jack. It offers unlocking through a fingerprint sensor placed on the side, as well as face unlocking.
At the design level, the POCO M5s is available in grey, white and blue with a curved back. Its dimensions are 160 × 74.5 × 8.3 and its weight is 179 grams. POCO has endowed the phone with IP53 splash resistance.

POCO M5s will be available in two versions: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB.
