While Jim Ryan, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, recently revealed that they intend to slow down the release of PC versions of PlayStation games, that doesn’t mean they’ll stop doing so entirely.

According to journalist Tom Henderson, Sony may have “removed” some of the big announcements from this week’s PlayStation Showcase, including a new PlayStation game for PC.

After two years, Sony held a new edition of the PlayStation Showcase this week, which featured a series of new announcements, including PlayStation exclusives and cross-platform games. While the event featured many standout moments, some fans missed more exclusive content.

It looks like Sony may have omitted some event information for future announcements. According to many renowned sources in the video game industry, such as journalist Tom Henderson and insider The Snitch, one of the announcements cut from this week’s event was a PC port of one of the PlayStation exclusives.

Guys, I know of some announcements that were not revealed during the PlayStation Showcase. It’s very weird. For example, there’s a PC port (AAA) coming in July.

As much as this is a rumor, we can’t help but think of titles like Ghost of Tsushima or Ratchet and Clank: In Another Dimension coming to PC soon, as there have been rumors about it in the past.

In any case, we must remember that on June 8, 2023, at 4 pm (Brasília time), the Summer Game Fest takes place, a live broadcast that promises to be attended by dozens of developers, including PlayStation. Did Sony save some of its Showcase ads for SGF?

Last year, during Summer Game Fest, Sony confirmed the launch of The Last of Us remake, as well as the development of a multiplayer game derived from the franchise.

Will Sony surprise us soon?
