If you have a 2G iPhone – the original one, your first one – still fine enclosed in its sales package with lots of uncut cellophane, well know that you have a little treasure in your hands. Yes, because a specimen of this type will be auctioned after February 19 most likely well above $50,000.
The auction of LCG Auctions it started yesterday and, in fact, will end on February 19th. The lucky owner – a certain Karen Green – wanted to tell the story of this technological heirloom on the pages of Insiders, explaining that the smartphone announced by Steve Jobs in 2007 had been given to her by some of her friends after she found work.
