It is becoming more and more common to see devices with a folding screen landed by mobile phone manufacturers, and it is possible that in a few years it will be a completely normal behavior. Folding screens are gaining ground and there are already several brands that have at least one proposal in circulation. OPPO is one of them.
OPPO’s is called OPPO find N and is included in the group of phones that unfold to become mini-tablets. Now, according to a leak that comes from 91mobiles, at OPPO they are developing a foldable to join the other group, that of the foldable ones that close in the middle to imitate the classic mobile phones with a cover. A kind of ‘Galaxy Z Flip’ signed by OPPO.
A cheaper flip-type flip than the Z flip3
They tell from 91mobiles that they have received the information through the user @stufflistings, one of the leakers which usually provides information to the German media. The information speaks, as we said, of OPPO’s plans to develop a mobile phone with a folding screen and cover mobile formatsuch as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, the Huawei P50 Pocket or the Motorola Razr, among some other models that are also in circulation.
It is not specified if we would talk about a second generation of the current OPPO Find N, so we would not see it arrive. until some time later this year or next, or if it would become a standalone release that we could see arriving in a relatively short time. In principle, and unless information to the contrary arises, we will consider that it will be a terminal that will arrive sometime in 2022.
The information pointed out by the leaker also adds something about the price, although it does not put figures on the table. It only mentions that this OPPO Find with flip-type folding screen should hit the market at a lower price than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, and the Korean phone hit the stores, at least in Spain, at a price of 1,059 euros for its version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We will closely follow this folding future from OPPO.
