“OPPO changes everything with the Find X6” was the title of last December’s news with which we commented on the render released on Twitter by Evan Blass. Indeed, the design of the new flagship of the Chinese company would seem to be completely different from the current model, the Find X5 which, albeit with some slight changes, still maintains the lines of the related Pro model as well.
But the radical change of course seems to be even more extreme with the Find X6 Pro which would not only be completely different from the current Find X5 Pro but also completely different from the Find X6. Obviously for now we are only talking about indiscretions but this would seem to be the direction taken by OPPO, at least judging by some photos and information shared in the last few hours on Weibo by the blogger WHYLAB.
Pictures show what it should a prototype of the Find X6 Pro in disguise with a large back cover that hides the photo module design. The lines of this cover are very squared unlike the module which should instead be circular, as seen on the new OnePlus 11 but central to the side edges. The images also highlight the presence of a curved display on the edges.
According to rumors, the Find X6 Pro will be equipped with a main camera with 50 megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor (with OIS), an ultra wide-angle lens with a 50 megapixel sensor and a third sensor, also 50 megapixel but with a perioscope lens. The front camera should have a 32 megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor. Also in this case the photographic sector should be created in collaboration with Hasselblad and MariSilicon X, Oppo’s Neural Processing Unit dedicated to imaging, will not be missing.
Other specs include a 6.8 or 6.9-inch 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 memory. 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
At the moment, there is still no information regarding the announcement of the Find X6 range which should still arrive during the first quarter of 2023. The Find X5 range, we recall, was announced on February 24 last year.
