After leaks and some official advances in recent weeks, from OnePlus they have now shown off what will be their first Android tablet to bring to the market. The company has only limited itself to sharing some specifications, stressing the differential of this device compared to the rest of the Android tablet models on the market, and urging to wait until April for the start of the anticipated period in India, North America , Europe and the Middle East.

And it is that the OnePlus Pad is not just any Android tablet, something that is clearly noticeable in aspects such as the rear camera module with its circular shape and located in the middle of the device, when the usual thing is to place the module or the simple rear camera in a corner.

An Android tablet that will make a difference

The new OnePlus Pad has an 11.61″ screen, with curved edges (2.5D curvature) and with a 144Hz refresh rate, having an aspect ratio of 7:5 and a screen/body ratio of 88%, being compatible with Dolby Vision HDR.

This already indicates the aspects towards which this new device is oriented, which is nothing more and nothing less than productivity, also having the possibility of magnetically attaching a full-size keyboard and compatibility with its own stylus, and entertainment, both to read electronic books and to play.

For this, it must also be considered that inside it will house the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, a processor oriented towards high-end devices, and it will have 12 GB of RAM, being solvent enough to face multiple tasks.

It also has a 9,510 mAh battery, which offers a range of 14.5 hours of use, with 67W fast cable charging support, which according to the company, allows it to offer a full charge in about 80 minutes. And speaking of the chassis, it is a chassis made of slightly rounded aluminum, and it comes in a striking Halo Green finish with “Star Orbit” engraving.

And as for the placement of the rear camera module, OnePlus chose this unusual location on Android tablets, noting that it is “more aligned with your own view”, which allows for much more comfortable productivity, including video calls.

Now it only remains to know the rest of the specifications and the price at which the company will put it in the different markets, including Spain.
