As we get closer to the official announcement of a new smartphone, as often happens, rumors and “leaks” also intensify. Of the OnePlus Nord 3, whose presentation is scheduled for July 5th, we know practically everything by now. In this case, however, it must be emphasized that it will be a “global” version of the Ace 2V that OnePlus launched last March in China.


Of OnePlus Nord 3 we have seen so far the results obtained on GeekBench, which confirmed the adoption of a processor MediaTek’s Dimension 9000 Supported by 16GB of RAM memory and the presence of the Android 13 operating system customized with OxygenOS, the user interface that OnePlus uses outside of China.

We then saw a large gallery of unofficial press renders, press images that detail the designs and colors that will be available: gray and teal. The design confirmations also came directly from OnePlus which showed OnePlus Nord 3 in the event teaser.

Today, an unboxing video also arrives in which both OnePlus Nord 3 is shown in detail, including the return of the iconic slider for the rapid exclusion of the ringtones, that the contents of the sales package in which there will be a USB cable and the 80W quick charger.


OnePlus Nord 3 will be a medium-high range smartphone equipped, as mentioned, with a Dimension 9000, an octa-core processor capable of reaching a maximum frequency of 3.05 GHz, 16GB of RAM, a 6.74″ AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels, support for 5G networks and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charge.

On the back, probably in plastic, three cameras: a main 50 megapixel one (the only difference with Ace 2V which has a 64 megapixel one), one with an 8 megapixel sensor and ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2 megapixel one with macro lens. The front camera, however, should be a 16 megapixel with f / 2.4 aperture.

To complete the hardware specifications, a double stereo speaker, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR, USB-C, GPS and a fingerprint recognition sensor integrated into the display. As for the selling prices, the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of massacres it should have a price list of 449 Euros. The version with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, on the other hand, should cost 100 euros more, 549 euros.


OnePlus will officially announce the Nord 3 on July 5th 2023 at 3.30pm, Italian time. In the poster of the event, OnePlus also confirmed the design and the two colors: Tempest Gray, with a “matte and textured finish that conveys solidity and durability”, and Misty Green is characterized by the “brilliant and design finish”.
