For more than a year on the market, the OnePlus 9 phones, launched in March 2021, have already received Android 12 and now they should receive the new interface from their manufacturer, ColorOS 13, based on the latest Android. According to the system’s official Weibo account, this even has a date set in China —October 31, the last day of this month.
This update should extend to the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. This update to a stable version will extend to several smartphones from OnePlus and OPPO that are currently testing ColorOS 13 in beta programs. Now, at last, a better-finished first version will be released to the public.
Talking about the package itself, the new major update will bring the latest version of Android 13 which brings a host of new features and updates. The Chinese brand’s new custom skin brings the new “Aquamorphic” design. The new visual language should bring more life to the system, as it should add vibrant colors, fast and light effects, as well as textured graphics.
There is also the inclusion of Android 13 active apps in the notification tab. In addition, ColorOS 13 also features the new Shadow Reflective Clock that simulates the orientation of the sun and moon. The new update would also bring new exclusive additions to Always On Display.
The software should still bring a new media playback center, support for world clock, special cards, new shortcut for switching chips in 5G connection and other minor improvements.
