In addition to the new generation of foldable Mate X3, Huawei has just presented the top-of-the-range P60 family of smartphones in China: it is divided into three models – the basic P60, the P60 Pro and the P60 Art, which is a bit like the “wildcard ” super prestigious this year. As always, the Chinese giant has focused heavily on XMAGE photography, both from the point of view of the more traditional hardware (lenses and sensors, in short) and from that of the chip dedicated to processing the received data, increasingly sophisticated and based on artificial intelligence.
On an aesthetic level, the three models can be recognized from each other mainly by the finishes and by the design of the camera module at the top left – a little more curved in the Art model, squared for the other two. The front of the device is instead dominated by a curved screen on all four sides with almost invisible frames and a single central hole for the camera (no variants of the Dynamic Island as had been rumored in recent months). Another big news this year is the two-way satellite communication on the constellation Beidou. Naturally, due to the ban, it is necessary to remember that the devices must give up 5G connectivity and Google services.
