performance tests involving the CUDA cores, published on Geekbench, pointed out that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, newly presented by the manufacturerwas 60% faster than the successful RTX 3090 Ti.
The brand’s new high-end GPU scored 424,332 points in the CUDA benchmarkagainst 260,346 for the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. Compared to the RTX 3090, the RTX 4090 managed to be more than 77% faster in the same test.
The evaluation of GeForce RTX 4090 was performed in a machine with the platform AMD AM5 X670E and a Ryzen 9 7950X processor, in addition to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM with 6000 MHz, that is, a great PC configuration.
It is worth mentioning that the GeForce RTX 4090 has 52% more CUDA cores than the RTX 3090 Ti. This advantage is clearly highlighted in the test. In addition, the new GPU has relatively higher frequencies, peaking at 2.58 GHz.
Another point to note is that the GeForce RTX 4090 has the AD102-300 GPU and delivers 82.6 TFLOPS, more than double the performance of the RTX 3090 Ti. The model is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and has a TDP of 450 W.
The graphics card, which was announced alongside two different versions of the RTX 4080, arrives on October 12, the same day that Intel will launch its top-of-the-line video cardthe Arc A770.
