Nubia is preparing to bring its RedMagic 8 Pro gaming mobile to international markets

A few weeks ago Nubia presented the new RedMagic 8 Pro and RedMagic Pro+, its new gaming mobile models, with the most powerful Snapdragon processor, 6,000 mAh battery, LPDDR5x RAM memory and UFS 4.0 storage, hidden front camera on the screen , and more.

The company initially brought them to the Chinese market at the end of last year with a view to now bringing the RedMagic 8 Pro to global markets, which will go on sale on February 2.

They share most of the specifications.

The truth is that there are very few differences between the two, since they share many specifications such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as a processor and accompanied by its own Red Magic R2 coprocessor as a reinforcement, and the 6.8″ FullHD+ AMOLED screen at 120Hz. of refresh rate and up to 960Hz of touch response, with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and protection under Gorilla Glass 5, establishing a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7%.

As for the photographic section, these models are made up of a configuration for the rear composed of a main camera with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and finally a 2MP macro camera, and on the front Hidden behind the screen is a camera with a 16MP sensor.

There will also be touch triggers, RGB lights, the innovative cooling system with a 20,000 RPM fan, as well as connectivity options, such as support for 5G networks, Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as incorporating a headphone jack and integrating dual stereo speakers.

They have Android 13 with RedMagic OS 6.0 as a customization layer, the security and system update plan being unknown, which in recent times is gaining importance.

By way of difference, the Pro option, which is the one that now reaches international markets with 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, is the one that has a 6,000 mAh battery with support 65W fast cable charging, compared to the 5,000 mAh battery and 165W fast cable charging of the Pro+ option, which will not reach other markets at the moment.

RedMagic 8 Pro will have a starting price of 649 euros for the Matte version, with 12GB/256GB, while the Void version, with 16GB/512 GB, will be priced at 749 euros.
