Nostalgia! Gunbound is relaunched for Android and iOS devices

If you are a fan of video games, you certainly remember the nostalgic period of lanhouses, a time when broadband internet was taking its first steps in Europe, which made many resort to these businesses with multiple computers to play online with friends for a few hours.

Although players’ customs have changed since the early 2000s, many still happily remember the times they spent in the lanhouses. One of the great icons of that period was Gunbound, a game heavily inspired by the iconic Worms that was released exclusively on PC.

If you want to kill the nostalgia of the past and relive the joy of playing Gunbound, you can celebrate, because the game has just won a version for Android and iOS devices.

Developed by Softnyx, Gunbound T faithfully recreates the experience of the classic from the 2000s, however, it does not have the 4 against 4 mode that was famous at the time. In the mobile version, players can play 1v1 or 2v2 matches, allowing matches to be more agile, perfectly matching the consumption habits of mobile gamers.

Gunbound T also has several new features for players, such as: new vehicles, new items, new maps, game modes that were not part of the PC version and much more. All this without leaving aside the classic elements that made players fall in love with the title in the past.

Another change from the classic version is that players can acquire cosmetic items for their own vehicles, but they end up offering competitive advantages during the game, including more health, defense, attack and other attributes. This ended up being the target of criticism from players, as it features a pay-to-win system.

So, were you happy with the return of Gounbound? What other lanhouse games do you miss?
