Nokia X20 and X10, there is Android 13: the update of the range starts from them

Nokia X20 and X10 are the first smartphones from HMD to receive the update to android 13. The company’s choice was curious, to start from two unpretentious mid-ranges instead of, for example, the more “smart” and recent Nokia X30, but there is probably a desire to let people know that in HMD all products are the same , that you don’t want to leave anyone behind. This can be understood from the words of Lars Silberbauer, Chief Marketing Officer of HMD Global:

We are excited to announce that our customers will start experiencing Android 13 on their Nokia phones. We are aware that people want to use their mobiles for longer. Phones from the new line of Nokia smartphones stand out from the rest thanks to their longevity, which adds to safety and innovation. All these elements are present, however, in all price ranges.

But unfortunately there are no details on what’s new of the update. In short, we do not know if the men of Nokia have added further changes to the user experience compared to those deriving from the transition from Android 12 to Android 13, nor is there any information on the timing of the rollout.

The fact that Nokia has communicated that the X20 and X10 are the first to receive Android 13 suggests that the firmware is also distributed in Italy, and that within a few days it reaches the first users. Nokia X20 and X10 have different common aspects: they are similar aesthetically and in basic characteristics, such as chip (Snapdragon 480 5G), display and battery. The only one difference noteworthy concerns the cameras: the X20 has the main 64 MP and the selfie 32 MP while the X10 has 48 MP the first and 8 MP the second.

Both are arrived on the market with Android 11. Now they answer, together, the call of Android 13.

  • Nokia X20 is available online from Amazon at 289 euros. The value for money is good. There are 14 top models.

  • Nokia X10 is available online from eBay at 186 euros.
