LinkedIn has quietly introduced a new improvement in the way content is shared in the professional social network, which will make it easier for other people to publish your posts among their contacts, which will improve the organic reach of the publications.

LinkedIn adds more options to the share button

Now it will be easier for anyone who wants to share any content on the social network with their network of followers to do so. When pressing the “Share” button, LinkedIn now shows a pop-up menu with two options, as you can see in the image:

The “Repost” option allows the contact’s post to be displayed directly in other people’s feed. On the other hand, when clicking on “Share and contribute your ideas”, what will happen is that a new content will be published with the user’s comments and, in addition, the publication of the contact.

These two options were already available on other social networks like Twitter when retweeting content. Until now, however, LinkedIn did not provide this additional option.

In addition, it should be noted that any comments or “likes” that are given to that shared content will also count in the statistics of the original post, which is a good incentive to get more interactions in the publications and that these are more shared naturally. .

On the other hand, the number of times a content has been shared will be displayed in the original post. If you also click on the number in question, you can have information on which people have been the ones who have shared the content with their followers.
