The new Motorola Moto G24 will compete with Xiaomi, Redmi and company in the complicated segment of cheap mobile phones

Motorola has announced a new mid-range mobile phone and the successor to the Moto G23 which gave us good feelings for its price range. It’s the new one Motorola Moto G24 which will surely have a lot to say this year among economical mobile phones.

The Motorola Moto G24 maintains a good part of last year’s specifications, including the same Helio G85 and 50 megapixel camerabut with Android 14 standard and, curiously, some components that, on paper, suffer a regression with respect to the previous model.

This is the Motorola Moto G24

The new Motorola Moto G24 is already here, being a somewhat continuous evolution that, therefore, will surely not be worth it for those who already have a Moto G23 in their hands. Many specifications are maintained and others are even reduced.

The Moto G24 is a new cheap terminal with an attractive design and in the same line as the Moto G23, except for the differences in the number of lenses. The terminal has a screen 6.56-inch LCD with HD+ resolution with 90 Hz refresh rate and the center-mounted front camera punched out.

This front camera is 8 megapixels (compared to the 16 MP of the Moto G23), while behind we have a triple shooter with a 50-megapixel main lens and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. There is no wide angle, therefore.

The Motorola Moto G24 repeats the move of including a 5,000 mAh battery, although here with support for 15W fast charging (it was 30W on the Moto G23, with the same processor).

The Moto G24 once again mounts a MediaTek Helio G85, accompanied by 4 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage expandable via MicroSD. It has the fingerprint reader on the side, minijack, stereo speakers and Android 14 pre-installed with hardly any modifications.

Versions and prices of the Moto G24

The Moto G24 is available in versions with 4 or 8 GB of RAM and Its starting price is 129 euros, for the lower version. It is available in black, green and purple.
