Called “Mortal Kombat 1”, the game won an impressive cinematic trailer, which paves the way for this new tournament, in addition to also revealing the game’s release date.

In Mortal Kombat 11, we saw Liu Kang become an Elder God and receive the power to control the sands of time, an ability that previously belonged to the deity called Kronika.

With that, it’s up to the hero to use his new abilities to rebuild the timeline and correct the evils that Raiden’s heroes faced for a long time.

In the cinematic video, we see classic characters like Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena, Shang-Tsung and among others living in what appears to be feudal Japan, but as expected, the calm soon gives way to a unbridled carnage, spawning the iconic bloody moments the franchise is known for.
