Microsoft is adding various new functions to its Employee Experience Platform Viva, including confidential communication with executives.

Microsoft has found that while most workers embrace the benefits of flexible work arrangements, many executives long for the office life of the past. With its Employee Experience Platform (EXP) Viva, the manufacturer wants to reduce this discrepancy. The manufacturer has now announced various innovations and extensions for its Microsoft 365 application, which can be used via teams.

In order to make Viva clearer, the new Viva Connections start page should show all Viva apps and services at a glance. The new Viva People app is designed to help employees get to know their colleagues and their skills better. Microsoft’s announcements also include Viva Pulse, an app that allows leaders to get confidential feedback on their teams’ experiences – integrated with Microsoft Teams. Viva Amplify is intended to centralize and promote the internal communication of teams and managers: This app offers assistance in writing and distributing messages in the company.

According to Microsoft, the new features will be available from early 2023. The software company has expanded Viva several times since its appearance. Recent announcements include Viva Sales. This first role-based Viva application aims to automate sales from contact to closing the deal – directly in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams. Viva Sales is scheduled to be available from October 3, 2022. Microsoft has announced further role-based functions in Viva for the future.
