There are millions of 3D models on the Internet, models that we can use to illustrate all kinds of work, but most of them do not allow any type of customization, which limits their use when we need to adapt it to our brand.

Thinking about it, Freepik has just launched Mockup Baker for Photoshop, a desktop application and plugin for Photoshop with which any design professional can easily customize 3D models.

They present it as one of the most powerful mockup plugins for Photoshop, an extension with which we can perform various tasks:

– Render in a very short time (less than a second) to see how it would look at the end. It’s 10 times faster than the system we use with Photoshop’s 3D layers
– Ability to work with textures higher than 4K resolution (a limit set in Photoshop, but not in this new Freepik solution).
– Customize 3D models in Photoshop with versions v23 onwards, something very useful if we take into account that Adobe removed 3D functions from that version.
