THE Microsoft released a list of new functions that it will add to the excel in the December update. In this sense, the news comes to the versions of the spreadsheet editor for different platforms, such as Windows and macin addition to the web version of the program that even received the largest number of functions.

However, the most prominent attribute is the so-called ‘ImageFunction‘ (Image Function), which allows the user to add images to the cells of the worksheets along with the option of alternative texts. This attribute was introduced by the company in August and even appeared in the beta versions before arriving definitively in this month’s update.

With Excel’s Image Function, the user can resize added objects and even transform a link into a QR Code. Now, as for the other additions, it is worth mentioning “Formula Suggestions” and “Suggested Links“, Besides “Formula by Example” and “Add search bar in query panel🇧🇷

Some videos were released to show how each of these functions operates in practice. In addition, the Windows version of the application has features that were implemented based on feedback from the users themselves. In this way, the program now has the ability to quickly open the Power Query editor and create imports and dynamic matrices.

In general, most of the functions are already available on all three platforms mentioned. However, some of the game features in the Windows version can only be accessed in insiders from the program. For the rest, to be able to use the new attributes, just make the most recent update.
