Microsoft announces event that should focus on the integration between ChatGPT and Bing
Microsoft has announced that it will hold a major event next Tuesday (7) in which it should address an alleged integration of ChatGPT to Bing and its broader partnership with OpenAI, responsible for the language engine that is becoming a fever.
Big tech sent out invitations to the event at the company’s headquarters in Redmond, starting at 3 pm in Brasilia time. According to employees who shared the information, the company’s CEO, Satya Nadella, will comment on the progress of some projects. Microsoft has already extended its partnership with OpenAI in a deal of US$ 10 billion, guaranteeing exclusivity as OpenAI’s cloud partnerits products, API services and research.
This announcement also comes after Google announced its own rival to ChatGPT, a service called Brad that promises a very similar chat experience — for now, only available to a select few.
On the other hand, Microsoft can formalize the use of ChatGPT as part of the Bing search engine – which was identified this past week by some users, who saw a page with a chat section similar to the Open AI chatbot. Microsoft suggests that this new Bing should provide more complete answers to user questions.
There are still rumors that Word, PowerPoint and Outlook will receive OpenAI feature, as well as Microsoft Teams Premium, and a likely integration with Windows 12.
