spotify has been testing the live lyrics feature in the style of Apple Music. After expanding it to USA at the beginning of the year, it is now rolling out globally. Spotify will use lyrics provided by Musixmatch to expand your agreement.
Previously, most markets had the function “Behind the Lyrics”, which was launched in 2016, but did not offer real-time lyrics, which has generated complaints from users. Because of that, “Behind the Lyrics” it will be replaced by this new feature.
The feature will be available to users of ios and Android, also for desktop computers, game consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One) and televisions (Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung, Roku, LG, Sky and Comcast).
How to enable the new live lyrics feature coming to Spotify
At mobile, users can swipe up from the screen “Now Playing” to see the lyrics in real time as the song plays.
In the desktop app, you can click the microphone icon from the bar “Playing right now.”
And in the application Spotify TV, you will navigate to the upper right corner of the view “Playing now”.
There is also a feature that allows users to select letters to share with a choice of different destinations. Fortunately, both free and premium users can use this new experience.
