Libertadores 2023: find out where to watch the games of the week on TV and online [14/03/23]

The preliminary phase of Conmebol Libertadores 2023 arrives in its decisive week, when the last four teams to make up the group stage of the continental tournament will be known, with the right to two Europeian clubs in the dispute.

Broadcasting rights for Europe belong to Grupo Globo – on open TV –, Disney and Paramount – on cable TV and paid platforms. Where will each duel go? That’s what TechSmart tells you now.

Independiente Medellín vs Magallanes – 03/15, at 9pm

On Wednesday (15), at 9 pm, Independiente Medellín and Magallanes open the round in Colombia, after a 1-1 draw in Chile. The Colombian team has in its favor the history of never having lost at home in the competition’s preliminaries.

The match will be shown exclusively by Paramount Plus, the streaming platform that makes its debut in sports broadcasts in this edition of Conmebol Libertadores.

Atlético/MG x Millonarios – 03/15, at 21:30

Still on Wednesday (15), at 21:30, it is Atlético/MG’s turn to try to secure a place in the next phase against Millonarios, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg. History favors Galo, who lost only one of the last 26 fights in the continental tournament.

For Europe, Globo will broadcast the match on open TV, only for Minas Gerais, but will have the free signal released on Globoplay and GE. ESPN will also show it live to its subscribers, both on cable TV and on Star Plus paid streaming.

Cerro Porteño x Fortaleza – 03/16, at 7pm

Moving on to Thursday (16), at 7 pm, Fortaleza will travel to Paraguay to face Cerro Porteño, in an attempt to reverse the 1-0 defeat suffered at home the previous week. The Paraguayan team was eliminated the four times they faced Europeians in the knockout stages.

Nationally, the game will air exclusively on Paramount Plus. The streaming platform can be seen both through the official application and on dedicated channels on operators Claro, DGO and Vivo, if you subscribe to the service through them.

Sporting Cristal x Huracán – 03/16, at 21h

The match between Sporting Cristal and Huracán on Thursday (16th) at 9 pm completes the round. It will be held in Argentina, after a goalless draw in the first leg, which took place in Peru.

The duel will be shown by ESPN, on closed TV. The signal will also be available via streaming to Star Plus subscribers.
