A lg electronics announced this Tuesday (14) a new monitor focused on the gamer audience. It’s about the 49GR85DC-Bwhich has a screen 49 inches IPS, 5120 x 1440 resolution (DQHD) and an anti-glare style. In addition, it has a number of features tailored for different types of games.
Anyone playing FPS or RTS, for example, will be able to use features such as Black Stabilizer, FPS Counter It is dynamic action sync. Likewise, the product has a curvature of 1,000R, which is about the same capacity as a human’s field of view.
This makes the product able to provide a good immersion during the user’s game. Other features of the 49GR85DC-B include a 32:9 aspect ratio as well as support for the AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and support 240Hz refresh rate.
The monitor weighs around 14.7 kg and among the ports available are two HDMI 2.1 and a Display Port 1.4. There’s also a headphone jack and a function that allows it to be used as a USB hub. According to LG, the item has 95% DCI-P3 and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 coverage.
Despite already having a page available dedicated to the monitor, LG has not revealed when it will be available for sale, not even the suggested price for the product.
