IRIS Clarity, new option to eliminate background noise in calls

There are many ways today to eliminate background noise from a phone call or video conference. From devices that take care of the subject (I already talked about some of Creative in charge of the subject) to software that makes a real-time adjustment to eliminate noise that is detected.

It is not easy to do that process in real time. When we use an audio editor we usually choose a piece of track with the background noise and we eliminate it later in the whole file, but in real time things change, since the background noise can vary over time.

The mid-range and high-end headphones do it perfectly with street traffic, isolate music without problems, but to do it with video calls it is necessary to have a program that dynamically adjusts the reduction by analyzing the last seconds.

This is how IRIS was born, a program, currently only for Mac (they are working on the Windows version), which is responsible for eliminating background noise from calls made with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and other options that may be added in the future .

IRIS Clarity has been tested with barking dogs, heavy traffic, crying babies… they use AI-powered voice isolation technology, picking up only the voice and eliminating the rest, whatever it is.

They comment that it is both real-time and multi-directional, which means that all participants immediately enjoy clearer sound no matter where they are.

It runs on your computer, and has a free first week. Then the payment period begins, of about $ 8 a month for individual use (there is a 50% discount using the code CLARITYPH, given to those who saw the launch on Producthunt).

You can test it in iris.audio/clarity, where, I repeat, they assure that the Windows version is imminent.
