Update (12/23/2022) – MR
In recent months, iQOO has launched Neo 7 and Neo 7 SE in China. However, the manufacturer still reserves one more member for the family: the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.
The third member of the line will be released in December 29th and had some of its specifications confirmed by the company. The poster brings the launch date in China and confirms the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 platform.
iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition will come with Qualcomm’s previous platform with max speed of 3.2GHz. For comparison, the Neo 7 featured the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset and the Neo 7 features the Dimensity 8200, both from MediaTek.
A recent leak also brought more details about the cell phone. The device will have 16 GB of RAM, but other variants should be released with 8 GB and 12 GB. In internal storage, it will have options with 256 GB or 512 GB.
The screen should be AMOLED with 6.78 inches and have FullHD + resolution, in addition to support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The battery capacity of the device is not currently known, but it should be something between 4,700 mAh and 5,000 mAh if we take into account the Neo 7 and Neo 7 SE, while fast charging should be 120W, which usually takes the battery from 0 to 100% in about 20 minutes.
