iPhone Users Report Problems With Face ID After Updating to iOS 16

Some iPhone users are reporting issues with the iOS 16 update. Reports indicate that the update is affecting the Face ID of devices.

So far, it’s unclear how many people are being harmed by the bug, or if it affects a specific iPhone model, but what is known is that the bug displays a message: “Face ID is not available, please try setting up Face ID.” Face ID later”.

It is not new that early versions of iPhone Operating Systems are released with bugs that cause users headaches and even the recent iOS 16 is not immune from this tradition.

The newest bug introduced by the system update prevents Face ID, the facial recognition engine used to unlock the device, and other security functions from working.

According to reports on Reddit, users of different iPhone models are complaining about the same problem, but details are still scarce, given that Apple has yet to comment on the matter.

According to reports from some users, when taking the device to an Apple dealer, they were told that this is a hardware problem.

Reports of Face ID issues related to iOS 16 updates are not new, with many appearing since before the latest stable release was released.

For now, we can only wait for Apple to speak up and launch a solution to the problem.
