With an expected launch in September, the new iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max finally went into trial production. The information began to circulate in Apple’s supply chain this Friday.

According to people who work at Foxconn, the American company gave the order for the first units to start being assembled at the factory in Zhengzhou, China.

With that, the Cupertino company will collect these devices for intensive hardware and software testing, the latter of which is already in an advanced stage of development.

The initial production schedule also foresees that the mass assembly of the new members of the iPhone 15 line will begin later this month. Sources point out that this step will be reached after the 20th.

Apple reportedly expects to stock 85 to 90 million units of the iPhone 15 family, with Pro models taking priority and expected to be the majority.

To boost productivity, Foxconn is offering bonuses to all its employees. This incentive also seeks to ensure the reduction of problems in the manufacture of devices.

As for the specifications of the iPhone 15 line, we should expect the models to follow the previous generation’s design and have USB-C. “Standard” cell phones should have the A16 Bionic chipset, dynamic island and 48 MP main camera as the main novelty.

On the other hand, the Pro variants gain the A17 chip and periscope camera, something that should make Apple raise the price of the devices.
