After two years as an online event, the Internet Security Days on September 29th and 30th in Phantasialand offer many opportunities for personal networking.
At its twelfth edition, the Internet Security Days (ISD) will offer a supporting program with many opportunities for network maintenance. The event, organized by eco, the Internet Industry Association, in cooperation with voonze Academy on September 29 and 30, 2022 in Phantasialand Brühl, aims to enable IT security experts, security managers and user companies to maintain old contacts and establish new connections.
A corresponding supporting program with workshops and an evening event has now been announced. For example, there are five two-hour workshops with a focus on practical exercises. In small groups, the participants work out how email deliverability can be secured and identity misuse prevented. With Lego Serious Play, a moderation tool for team missions, the sounding board method and planning rounds will be presented in another workshop. A third seminar deals with cyber incidents from an insurance perspective. “Hacking Gamification – From Zero to Admin Pwned” is the title of another workshop. Finally, there is an IT forensics readiness workshop on how to covertly track down attackers.
Internet Security Night in front of an exciting backdrop
At the evening event after the first day of the event, the approximately 300 expected participants will be given an unusual setting to continue discussions about current threats and security strategies. The so-called Internet Security Night takes place in the Deep in Africa area. Here, the Inverted Coaster Black Mamba, one of the most popular roller coasters in Phantasialand, is exclusively available to guests without long queues.
The program of the established IT security conference had already been announced earlier in the year. Visitors can look forward to around 40 lectures, keynotes and panel discussions that offer a representative overview of the current situation with regard to IT security issues.
