Instagram receives update that allows Stories of up to 60 seconds

After feedback from many users, Instagram is getting an update that Increases Stories timeout from 15 to 60 seconds. The novelty began to be distributed this Wednesday.

According to reports from several users, the improvement already appears in the application when recording a Stories with the native camera of the social network.

Currently, Instagram does not allow you to post Stories longer than 15 seconds. As a result, larger videos are split into several smaller parts and the experience of watching the content is not always good. In addition, saving this material on the smartphone also becomes a problem, as videos have to be joined manually.

For now, the update is rolling out slowly and gradually to users in the US and Europe. Apparently the update is being released through the server.

With this, you do not need to download the latest version of the application from the Play Store, but just wait for the social network to release the news on your profile.

It is worth remembering that this week Meta announced a greater integration between Instagram login and Facebook login, and the social network also has a feature to hide nudes in DMs.
