IFTTT, the best-known platform for the automation of processes between applications and devices, is also not immune to the expansion of the capabilities of generative Artificial Intelligence that we have been observing in recent months.
In this regard, the well-known platform is launching its first three services powered by the OpenAI GPT-3 model, which can only be accessed by users who are subscribed to the Pro Plus rate, at a cost of five dollars per month.
Initiating a new type of services with a long projection
These subscribers will be able to use AI Social Creator, AI Content Creator, and AI Summarizer, which will allow them to generate short-form content for social media posts, to generate long-form content for platforms such as blogs, notepads, and the like, and generate summaries of blog content, meeting notes, among other sources, respectively.
For this, the conditions that have been established in the applets used must be met, whether they are self-created as well as those that are publicly available, for which the automation platform is already presenting some of them on Twitter and Instagram, inviting users to share their own applets on these same social networks, earning the opportunity to win an annual subscription to IFTTT Pro Plus.
IFTTT points out that these three new AI-powered services use its query function to carry out AI requests, and that users will be able to combine as they want using the triggers and actions of the almost 800 services. that are currently supported on IFTTT.
And for IFTTT this is only the beginning of a long adventure that we will see over time, waiting for the next services powered by Artificial Intelligence to arrive along the way.
For now in the hands of subscribers of payment plans
What we don’t know is whether both these capabilities and future ones that are coming will continue to be exclusive to subscribers of paid rates, or at some point they will also reach users of free accounts, as long as no other alternative comes along that tries to fill this new void.
And it is that it is very common that someone from any part of the world can come up with an idea that allows to cover a need until now not satisfied by the current services, for which they will work to turn their idea into a project, either for personal use or good for public use.
