Huawei updates two of its best laptops to share with MacBooks
The company Huawei has decided to carry out a facelift for two of the best laptops currently on the market. We are not talking about a radical change, but about an update of two teams that were already good -and that take the step to be better-. We tell you the most interesting things that the new MateBook X Pro 2023 and the MateBook 16S 2023.
One of the things that are updated, and that is common in the two computers that use the operating system Windows 11is that they have been integrated 13th generation Intel processors to the two product lines (it is possible to choose between the Core i5-1340P and the Core i7-1360P). And, the truth is that in the case of the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2023 there is not much newer compared to last year’s model.
Good options in Huawei equipment
This means that we are dealing with a laptop, since for example you will find a very striking metal finish and, in what has to do with the RAM, this is located in a fork between 16 and 32GB. A more than enough amount for everything to work perfectly. On the other hand, the graphics integrated in the equipment of the Asian firm is a Intel Iris Xe. If you wonder about the screen, the one it uses is a 14.2-inch LTPS touch screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a resolution of 3,120 x 2,080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits -at a refresh rate of 90Hz- .
The MateBook X Pro 2023 packs a 60Wh battery and four USB Type-C ports on its sides (two Thunderbolt 4 on the left and two on the right). Weighing in at 1.26 kilos, it will be available in three colors: Space Grey, Ink Blue, and Bench, all of which have a fine-grain coating. They are put on sale from June 1 from 2,199 euros.
Changes in the MateBook 16S 2023
This is a laptop that has a screen of 16 inches. This has a 3:2 aspect ratio and the resolution of its touch panel is 2,520 x 1,680 pixels. Huawei says that the screen reaches 400 nits, which is a hundred more than the previous generation. By the way, its weight is 1.99 kg, which is not bad for a device like this.
The choice of processors for this Huawei covers all 13th generation Intel Core and also all of the H series: i9-13900H, i7-13700H and also the i5-13500H. The MateBook 16S is also on sale from June 1, but its price is from €1,799.
