Huawei releases HarmonyOS 3 on the Watch 3, Watch GT 3 and Watch GT Runner

Huawei has started the release of HarmonyOS 3 operating system on Watch 3, Watch 3 Pro, Watch GT 3, Watch GT 3 Pro and Watch GT Runner. The arrival of HarmonyOS 3 on its smartwatches was initially foreseen by Huawei for the end of last year however, for unknown reasons, it has suffered several postponements.

With HarmonyOS 3, in addition to the usual performance improvements that usually accompany almost all system updates, there are also new features and custom watch faces including “Kaleidoscope” which creates a particular design starting from an image of the user, similar to the dial on the Apple Watch.

One of the major changes coming with HarmonyOS 3 concerns the notification management which will offer a better view and allow you to select quick replies in some apps. After being released in China, with this release the app that allows monitoring of lung health by combining data on skin temperature and respiratory cycle is also arriving for everyone.

In addition to these functions, plus other minor changes, is also on the way a new flashlight function which also allows you to choose other colors in addition to the classic white.

HarmonyOS 3, launched in June last year, is the new version of Huawei’s proprietary open-source operating system whose development has undergone a sharp acceleration since the United States “banned” the Chinese company which had to give up, among ‘other, to Android Google services.
