As you already know, Bing now has integrated the technology that allows you to go from text to image, that of DALL-E, since Microsoft is an investor in OpenAI, creator of both DALL-E and the famous ChatGPT.
The fact is that the system can be accessed from the Edge browser by entering bing.com, but there is another faster and easier way, which can be used from any browser and operating system.
You just have to enter www.bing.com/create and put the description of the image you want, although it is necessary that you put it in English, so you can use a translator before so that the result is the desired one.
The two ways of access
Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president at Bing, explained that Bing Image Creator allows anyone to create an image simply by using their own words to describe the image they want to see. Although it is free, there are two ways to access it.
To use Bing Image Creator in the new version of Bing, follow these steps:
– If you are in the Bing preview (which you can sign up for at bing.com/new), open Microsoft Edge, sign in to your Microsoft account, and go to Bing.com/chat. You can also click the Chat button at the top of the page on Bing.com.
– Under the header that says “Choose a conversation style”, click on “More creative”. The tool is only available in Creative mode for now, but Microsoft plans to bring Bing Image Creator to Balanced mode and Precise mode in the future.
– Type a request in the chat box that instructs Bing to create an image and press Enter.
Microsoft has explained that it is rolling out Bing Image Creator in a phased approach by testing it with a set of early users before rolling out more widely. Therefore, the tool may not work immediately. If you find yourself in the same situation, there is a way to access the tool without having to use Bing chat.
To use Bing Image Creator in any browser, follow these steps:
– Go to bing.com/create in your browser.
– Sign in to your Microsoft account.
– Enter a description of an image you would like to see and press the “Create” button.
– Wait while the OpenAI DALL-E deep learning model generates your image. Everyone has access to a limited number of boosts per day to speed up the process. Once you run out of boosts, image generation may take longer, but you can redeem Microsoft Reward Points for additional boosts.
– Once the process is complete, you will see four images that reflect your request. When you click on one, you’ll have the option to share, save, download, or provide feedback on the image. Bing Image Creator will save all your recent creations in the right sidebar.
Microsoft has explained that Bing Image Creator works best when requests are “highly descriptive.” Instead of asking Bing to create a “creature,” try submitting a request for a “furry creature wearing sunglasses, digital art.”
Remember, only in English.
