Artificial intelligence is in good health thanks to the latest advances within OpenAI. The company has announced big changes recently, but what is striking is that other firms receive more improvements, such as Microsoft. And we have known that it will soon arrive Copilot to Windows 11 and there are already some users who can use it.
Being one of them goes through a process as simple as installing a new update. This is called Moment 4, and it is only available for the latest version of Redmond’s operating system. That is, if you are one of those who still trusts Windows 10, you will not be able to use the AI that will help you manage your computer.
What you need to have Copilot on your PC
For those who today do not know what Copilot is, it is the new artificial intelligence with which you can interact with Windows 11. Being based on the ChatGPT model, the tool has all the power of this intelligent software and There are already users who can try it before anyone else.
The best of all is that it is a very simple procedure for everyone, but it is up to Redmond to distribute these improvements. Now, you just have to follow the following steps:
- Activate your computer
- Select Settings
- Enter Windows Update
- In the More options section, tap Get the latest updates as they become available
You don’t need anything else, neither to be part of the Insider program nor to access any part of the computer or its configuration to modify any data. However, there is a way to ‘force’ this update and it is through the Windows update catalog website. The only thing you have to look at is the version you need depending on whether your machine has an ARM or x64 build.
The big problem is that this Windows improvement will not be available in Spain for the moment for different reasons. We will have to continue waiting for Microsoft to comply with the legal requirements to implement an improvement of this type in the most used operating system in the world.
The news of Moment 4
It is important to highlight one thing and that is that these improvements are not final. That is, even if you install it directly from your computer, Moment 4 is in a development phase in which there may still be some errors. Among these, Copilot may not work or may not appear at all.
If this is the case, don’t worry, as sooner or later the service will improve. And speaking of improvements, the next Windows 11 update will bring with it important changes to the system interface such as new recommendations in Explorer, where you will see the most recurring files to have them even closer at hand.
The configuration also receives a very important aesthetic change, since it will have icons to access much faster functions as well as a method of controlling RGB lights if your PC has them.
These are some of these improvements that will be available in their final version after version 23H2 which is scheduled for next October. By then, everything should work normally, waiting for Redmond to find some bug that they should improve.
