At the beginning of June, Apple officially presented iOS15, the new updated version of the iphone operating system that will be available in September. Among the novelties announced by the bitten apple brand is the notification system, now structured as a summary that orders them according to their relevance. The purpose of this measure is not to saturate the screen with alerts and to allow the user to configure the hierarchy in which notifications are shown.
The summary of notifications of iOS 15 allows ordering and ranking the alerts so as not to saturate the mobile screen
This summary of notifications, by default, appears twice a day, but it is possible to customize the frequency so that it skips up to 12 times a day. These are the steps you have to follow to configure this summary of notifications to your liking:
-Adjustments and Notifications: The first thing to do is access the mobile phone’s “Settings” app. From there, iPhone offers us the possibility to configure a large number of variables on the operation of the device. Among the many options offered to us, we must access the “Notifications” section, which appears with a red icon with a white box inside.
-Activate the summary: When you click on “Notifications” you will see that the option “Schedule summary” appears. By default it will appear as “Off” and, to start configuring it, it must be activated as “On”. Click on the sign you can turn a tab to activate this option and start working with it. The tab will turn green and a box will appear with Apple’s instructions on this function.
-Customize your summary: The first thing you can configure is the number of summaries you want to receive throughout the day. Also at what time will you receive them. By default you will see the hours to create two summaries a day, but you can add more in the “Add Summary” tab, next to a blue “+” icon.
-Choose your notifications: Once you have decided on the number and frequency of the summaries, you can also choose their content. The next screen will show you a list with all your applications and you will be able to select those whose alerts will be shown in these summaries. This includes both serial apps, such as phone calls, such as those you have downloaded: Instagram, Twitter, media …
Of course, this configuration is reversible and, in the future, you will be able to change the frequency of the summaries and add or exclude applications from them.
