for quite some time Samsung has its own voice assistant in Spanish: Bixby. This is quite effective and works quite well, but you may not want to have it enabled on your Galaxy ZFold 4. We tell you how to achieve this so that you only use the Google development that is included with Android.
Luckily, the Korean company has natively included different ways to do this, and all of them are quite simple to carry out- also, they do not pose any danger to the operation of the folding smartphone we are talking about-. Therefore, if you do not want Bixby to appear at the least desired moment when using the terminal, you should not hesitate to follow some of the processes which we are going to show you next.
This is how the Bixby assistant is disabled on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
exist two things so that the use of Bixby is not present in the Samsung device we are talking about. For one thing, you have to disable the use of the side button to open the wizard. And, on the other hand, it is that the activation command of the tool offered by the Korean company is functional. This is what you have to do in each case:
Using the side button, so Bixby is no longer present
- On the phone screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. Now, among the icons you see, you should look for the one from Settings (it is in the upper right area and is shaped like a cogwheel). Use it regularly.
- Scroll down until you find the Advanced Features section. Tap the side button, and then tap Hold.
- Select Power off menu instead of Activate Bixby. With this you have finished the process.
Disable the wizard activation command
- Access the applications on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and, among the available options, use Bixby.
- The development opens and, on the right side of the floating bar that appears, you will see a compass-shaped icon. Click on the three vertical dots that you will see and then select the Settings option.
- Look for Activate by voice and, when you locate it, disable the slider on the right until its color is gray.
- This done, you are done.
As you can see, everything is really simple and risk-free. And, furthermore, if at any given time you want to use the Bixby assistant again on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, you simply have to change settings back that you have modified.
