Among the options offered by YouTube is to generate a history of searches and reproductions. This is useful, such as the fact that the platform makes highly personalized recommendations. But it has its dark side, which is none other than everything that has to do with privacy. If you want to delete this information and you don’t know how, we show you how to do it. The truth is that there are different ways to achieve this, but we believe that the best of all is the one that is done through the smartphone (since it is the platform that, according to YouTube itself, is the most used to consume its content). The fact is that, regardless of the terminal’s operating system, you will see that achieving the goal of leaving the history empty is not particularly complicated. And this, obviously, is appreciated. What you have to do to delete YouTube history The first thing to keep in mind is that the platform account you use is not affected, so you can use it exactly the same as always. And what’s more, the entire process is done directly in the YouTube app, which ensures excellent reliability if you follow the step-by-step instructions. This is what you have to do from your mobile phone: Open the YouTube application as usual and, now, in the upper right part you will see the image that identifies your account. Click on it and, in the menu that you will see, select Settings. In the list that you will see, you have to access the section called Manage all history. Now you will see the different videos that you have played and by clicking on the X-shaped icon on the right, you can delete it without leaving a trace. If you want to delete everything, click on the Delete section, select from forever. Once this is done, the reproduction history will be empty. You can also delete the searches. In this case, the actions to perform are these and, as you will see, the process is just as simple as the previous one (and without having to leave the app of the company’s application owned by Google): Enter in the application and, then, click on the upper area and the icon that looks like a magnifying glass.
