How to create a collection of thousands of NFT characters in a few minutes using Nfts2me

During 2021 we saw a real fever of the NFT world. Thousands of people created characters and sold the digital file using Blockchain technology, keeping the identity of the buyer forever, and allowing them to do business with the subject, since there are files that were sold for millions of dollars.

This fever reached hundreds of different sectors, and gave platforms such as openea, for the sale and purchase of digital assets, a huge boost.

The fact is that the fever has already gone down a lot, but it is still common to see how people create their characters and publish them on the Internet, thus offering the possibility of doing business with them.

A platform to generate NFT art

During this week I have been introduced to nfts2me.com, presented as an “NFT Art Generator”, and I have been able to personally test it to create variations of a mascot that I have had digitally for more than ten years (you have the example in the image above).

The process is simple, and I will explain it to you using Photoshop.

First we open Photoshop and create various groups. In one group I put the character’s body, in another group the hats, in another the blouses, in another the cigarettes, in another the tattoos… as many groups as you want. With more groups, more variations of the character, of course.

One of the groups is called Blackground, and in it I will put only a white background, since the nfts2me platform allows me to create random backgrounds with a single click.

Once I have the PSD file, I will upload it to the platform, and I will get my character elements classified in the side menu.

The magic comes when I generate the combinations after saying how many backgrounds I want and how likely I want each item to appear. I can indicate, for example, that the worker’s helmet appears only 5% of the time, and the cigarette one 1%, so that the combination of both elements is extremely rare in the final set of results (which can affect at its price).

And all this is just the first step, now we would have to upload it to the blockchain, using the network we want (ethereum, for example, I did it with the metamask extension of Google Chrome), and from there integrate it into opensea, for example. To do this, Nicolás Marín, one of the creators, tells us how to do it:

[…] The opensea theme is for secondary sales, that is, first you need to mint (mint) the tokens to be able to put them up for sale in OpenSea.

To deploy your NFT collection you need to pay the gas (if you do it in Polygon with MATIC, it costs a few cents to deploy). Once you have deployed your collection on the blockchain, you have to mint (mint these tokens) either on the minting page that is associated with your project or airdrop your NFT tokens to your wallet (you can send yourself as many as you want) and that’s it. you can see and list them in opensea (we have activated the pre-approved so to list in opensea you don’t need to make a transaction for this, just sign with your wallet so that opensea can list it for you)

In the videos on his channel you have the step by step to carry out all these activities, very well explained, by the way.
