Last month, Honor unveiled the Honor X40 5G phone with Snapdragon 695 in China. According to a Chinese insider, the manufacturer is also working on a new handset in the family called the Honor X40 GT.

Honor cell phone with model code ADT-AN00 has been certified by the 3C regulatory body in China and is expected to be announced in November.

Insider Guan revealed that the Honor X40 GT should be focused on performance and could hit the market with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. In other specs, it should have a 120 Hz OLED screen and curved edges.

However, other insiders bet that the device should be powered by the Snapdragon 888 platform, an older but extremely popular chipset that has become a favorite of many for its performance. For power, it can come equipped with a 6,000mAh battery pack with support for 66W fast charging.

It is possible that it inherits some of the specs from the Honor X40. As a reminder, the phone has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it comes equipped with the Snapdragon 695 platform with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For power, there’s a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 66W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, it has a dual module at the rear with a 50-megapixel main sensor and dual 2-megapixel auxiliary sensors. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8-megapixel front sensor.
