A new leak released this Wednesday revealed that Honor is working on an intermediate smartphone that could be presented during MWC 2023.

According to Chinese sources, this device still does not have a defined commercial name, but it should be announced with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and variants that have up to 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal storage.

Another relevant detail of this device is the presence of a battery that can have a capacity of 6,000 mAh. Despite this, the fast charging speed is yet to be confirmed.

See below a draft technical sheet and the possible front design of the device.

Image/playback: Honor’s new smartphone does not yet have a defined trade name, but its specifications and design should draw attention.

A point that draws a lot of attention in the image above is the presence of an OLED display that has curved edges on the sides and a small centered hole for the front camera. The design ends up bringing the middleman closer to many top-of-the-line smartphones and that is undeniable.

Despite not revealing information about the mysterious smartphone camera set, everything indicates that it may have a 50 MP main rear sensor.

For now, Honor has not commented on the matter, but the leaker claims that the device is already in an advanced stage of mass production. That is, the distribution phase for Chinese and global retail should begin soon.
