The Google Wallpapers or Google Backgrounds application, in Portuguese, finally gained new options for users to decorate the home and lock screen of their cell phones. The new wallpapers were noticed by the 9to5Google portal when they noticed that new categories and thumbnails for them were added to the application.

Among the new categories we have to highlight the subcategory “Love, Pixel” in Art, which brings the standard wallpapers of the Google Pixel 5a line, mainly with the image in dark green.

This is a nice improvement for the app, which has been receiving new images since its launch in 2016. The rest of the categories continue to include images of urban architecture, textures, solid colors, “life” and landscapes.

Speaking of wallpapers, Google has launched an online gallery with several incredible images of our planet Earth that can certainly be great options for your computer.
