Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a receive March 2023 security update

This Monday (20), the Google released the update with the security package for the month of March 2023 for the Pixel 6, 6 pro It is 6th. The models received the update with a certain delay, compared to other devices of the brand.

As reported by 9to5Google, the Pixel 6 series received the new build identified as TQ2A.230305.008.E1. In all, the March 2023 Update added over 40 fixes for the Pixel 6, while the Pixel 6a benefits from these three fixes:

  • Additional tuning for haptic intensity and response in certain conditions
  • Fixed an issue that prevented device bootloader unlocking under certain conditions.
  • Fix for an issue that prevented the device from booting to Android under certain conditions.

The Pixel Launcher also sees bigger filler tweaks and folders, and Health Connect is now pre-installed. Meanwhile, Pixel Feature Drop speeds up Night Sight on Pixel 6 and 6 Pro with the release of Google Camera 8.8.

Notably, Android 13 QPR2 adds a large digital clock to the full Quick Settings page, while the carrier name is displayed above the status bar icons and the battery percentage has been replaced with an estimated day/hour remaining.
