The end of the year is approaching, and the few work meetings that remain become more relaxed. And virtual meetings are no exception.
Google wants to contribute to this end-of-year spirit with new filter effects for Meet. So if you use the Google service to communicate with your coworkers, you can improvise some fun moments during meetings.
New effects for Google Meet meetings
The Google team announced that they are adding new filter effects to Meet, as you can see in the image above.
New options that you will find both in the web version of Google Meet and in the mobile apps. Remember that all the effects and filters offered by Google Meet are in the panel, so you can activate them with a simple click.
You just have to click on the menu with the three dots and select “Apply visual effects”. In this section you will find different sections such as wallpapers, filters and styles. To apply the new filters that you see in the image, you just have to search for those that correspond to “trunk head”, “strawberry head” and “rabbit in office”.
And a detail to keep in mind is that the filters and effects can be added at any time in Google Meet, either before starting the meeting or during the call. So if you want to have a fun end-of-year meeting with your coworkers, you can use these new effects.
And of course, you can remove the filters or try new effects, following the steps we mentioned before. And it is not the only novelty that the Google team announced for Meet. As we told you in a previous article, subtitles now have support for more languages. An update that affects both normal subtitles and translated subtitles.
