Everything is cycles. Life is full of them and sooner or later everything comes to an end. samsung will no longer continue with the annual tradition of presenting its A series, which continued to extend its legacy hand in hand with Galaxy A5x and A7x. We are talking about a line that does not have the power of its flagship, but which has become one of the company’s biggest commercial banners. It is said to be the best-selling series in its entire catalogue. Of course, it is to take it into account.

Although we don’t know anything about the A5x line, what we do know for sure is that Samsung abandons the A7x series and will not launch the expected Samsung Galaxy A74. The decision takes place after Samsung Galaxy A53 will overshadow the launch of the A73. The first of the series is the most sold, despite having less power. The user is looking for the “Samsung experience” without having to invest more than necessary.

Galaxy A74 will not hit the markets

The Samsung Galaxy A74 would have been the most powerful device in the series, but apparently, that position will now belong to the Galaxy A54. In the past, we’ve had the Galaxy A6x, A8x, and even the Galaxy A9x. However, Samsung canceled these lines to focus on best sellers. The Galaxy A7x series is the latest line that has ceased to exist.

This information arises from a report, so it must be taken with some caution. According to said report, the Galaxy A73 was the last phone in this line. As a result, Samsung will not present the Samsung Galaxy A74 in 2023. This is consistent with the inconsistency of previous rumors about the Galaxy A74.

A series that will be greatly missed at Samsung

So far, we have seen a lot of leaks pointing to the new Galaxy A series. However, we haven’t heard much about the Samsung Galaxy A74. Apparently, this is due to the fact that the phone is not under development. The reason? Long story short, the other phones are selling more and Samsung doesn’t see a reason to release a new Galaxy A7x. It’s a shame because the Galaxy A7x used to be the closest to the flagship segment. Now him Galaxy A54 will probably be the most attractive of the range.

The Galaxy A7x series was also used to fill a gap between the regular A series and the flagship S line. There will reportedly be no Galaxy S22 FE and S23 FE. Therefore, there will be a big gap between the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy S23 series. It’s an odd strategy when competitors likely have something to offer. Maybe Samsung follows Apple’s strategy of offering older high-ends at a lower price. It could slash the price of the Galaxy S22 phones and bring them closer to the range of the Galaxy A7x series. That makes sense now that the company offers four years of software support for its flagships.
