THE garmin launched the alpha version of update 11.5 for the operating system of Fenix 7 and Epix smart watches. The new build highlights the arrival of the Jet Lag Advisor feature and also brings some fixes to the software.
The alpha update of version 11.5 comes with a new feature that warns the user about jet lag. Called Jet Lag Advisor, the tool allows the user to receive tips and advice related to the trip and can help reduce the impact on the body.
Garmin’s latest software update also brings support for Connect IQ System 6, which allows the user to not specify their gender. The update is available for Fenix 7, Fenix 7X, Fenix 7S, Enduro 2, Epix (Gen 2) and MARQ smartwatches.
The new build also introduces the Initial support for HRV TrueUp, which ensures biometric data is synced between your devices. The update, however, omits support for the HRV night graph, which may arrive later.
Version 11.5 alpha also comes with additional navigation tools like distance data to the start and race day card, as well as endurance information for bike sports and a workout run score in the summary.
Lastly, there are also bug fixes in the update and general improvements to the software. The new update is still an alpha and, according to Garmin, it’s only available to users who download and install it manually. Remembering that errors can occur.
