Galaxy S23 Ultra certified in China: pleasant confirmations and a little skepticism

In the past few days, the Chinese body that certifies devices with network connectivity, TENAA, has been delivered Galaxy S23 Ultra. The smartphone has been examined by technicians and at the end of routine operations it has received approval to be marketed, when it will be official. The release is clearly useful for getting a sneak peek at Samsung’s best smartphone for 2023, and we haven’t been disappointed.

Many of the specifications detected by TENAA follow those that emerged from the rumors. The display for example it will be, according to the institution, 6.8 inches with 1440p resolution, a specification parity with the Galaxy S22 Ultra which is found on the memorieson the systems of unlock and on the capacity of batteryeven if the body has indicated 4,855 mAh: it is the nominal capacity, the typical will in all likelihood reach 5,000 mAh.

The increase on the peak frequency of the is important chip: almost 3.4GHz which as has been said in the past should be guaranteed by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in an ad hoc modified version for Samsung. Where instead it is not convincing the TENAA document it’s about the cameras: the organism detects a four-element rear group, with the main 108 MP, two 12 MP and a fourth 2 MP.

Not only would there be no step forward on the main sensor, which the rumors are sure to reach 200 MP, but the presence of a 2MP sensor. And a bizarre figure also comes from the opposite surface, where according to TENAA Samsung would have taken a step back from the 40 MP selfie camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra to just 12 MP of Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Frankly speaking, the gap between S23 Basic Edition and Ultra is getting wider and wider. If you have sufficient funds, I suggest you buy S23 Ultra directly, without considering S23/S23+

After all the (continuous) signs of Ice Universe row in the opposite direction. “Frankly – wrote the insider recently on Twitter – the gap between the two S23 and S23 Ultra is getting bigger and bigger. If your wallet allows it, my advice is to go for the Galaxy S23 Ultra without considering S23 or S23+”. The performance gap between the Galaxy Ultra and the others, and probably also in terms of price, will be increasingly evident.
